Our state-of-the-art technologies ensure accuracy, efficiency, and comfort. Our dental equipment is safe, effective, and well-maintained. Some of our dental technologies include those listed below
If you’ve ever gotten a crown before, I’m sure you remember exactly how it went: You got a goopy impression at the beginning of the appointment to have your temporary crown made and you had (at least one other) second goopy impression that could be sent to the lab, you left the first appointment with a temporary crown, maybe that crown fell off and you had to have another dental appointment to have it recemented, you waited a couple of weeks for the lab to make the crown (which, some labs even get the crowns made overseas with cheap materials!), and then finally, you got your permanent crown.
But now, you don’t need to come in for multiple appointments, you can leave the same day with a permanent crown!
The material is the highest quality available, and fabricated right here in the office, and it costs the same.
The ONLY advanced dental laser in Northwest Indiana.
No vibration. No drilling. No pain.
When Dr. Svetanoff created Restoration Dental Studio, she tried to think of how she could overcome some of the things people dislike most about the dentist. With this advanced laser, you won’t experience the discomfort you can sometimes feel when having dental work done, because the laser never actually physically touches your tooth. It also doesn’t make that high pitched sound like the drill does.
It significantly reduces aerosols because there is less air and less water flow.
This laser also decontaminates the area it is being using on in the mouth, killing viruses and bacteria. This is especially important when removing bacteria in your gum pockets during cleanings and during root canal therapy.
It can do cosmetic gum lifts and it stimulates healing of healthy tissue and help with TMJ pain.

Cutting-edge technology allows Dr. Svetanoff to see pretty much everything.
Nomad Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays give us a clear image of any cavities or periodontal disease and are an important part of routine dental care
The best part? They emit LESS radiation compared to conventional X-rays. That means it is very safe for you and our team.
Regular 2D x-rays absolutely serve their purpose, but they do have limitations in that they are only exactly what their name says – 2D. It is a flat image of your 3-dimensional mouth.
Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)
This allows you and Dr. Svetanoff to produce multiple views of your teeth and jaw. What makes it even better, it is in 3D. The scan is fast and painless, and uses a much lower dose of radiation than a standard CT scan.
More accurate. Much faster. Way more comfortable.
One of the most unpleasant experiences in a dental practice is when you have to have impressions (moulds) taken. You have to sit there with all of that goop in your mouth. It is messy and it is uncomfortable. That is something now that is almost always avoidable, if your dentist invests in the latest technology.
There are lots of tiny spaces around your teeth and gums where bacteria can hide. Fortunately, with magnification, we can see much of these small details that cannot be seen with the bare eye. That attention to detail leaves you with an absolutely stunning smile.
Isovac® Isolation System
This awesome all-in-one system allows us to work on an area in your mouth, while allowing you to rest your jaw and protecting your airway by suctioning out water. This helps appointments go by faster, your jaw will be less sore, and you won’t feel water building up in the back of your throat during the procedure!
Not only can you leave with a permanent crown the same day, but you can also leave the same day with custom bleaching trays, athletic mouth guards, night guards, and more!
Nitrous Oxide (Laughing Gas)
Nitrous Oxide is a great way to combat dental anxiety. It is inhaled through a small mask that rests on your nose. It is odorless and takes effect within minutes. It is a mild sedative, so you won’t have any reduced memory of the experience. At the end of the appointment, the effect dissipates as the mask is removed. You will not need an escort to or from your appointment if you are only using this form of sedation.
Oral Conscious Sedation
This method of sedation is a deeper level of sedation compared to nitrous oxide. It requires a prescription medication from Dr. Svetanoff. It is an anti-anxiety medication that will reduce and even eliminate anxiety of dental treatment. While this medicine reduces your memory of the experience, you will stay awake and are responsive the entire time. If Dr. Svetanoff thinks you are a good candidate for this method of sedation, you will require an escort to and from the appointment.
