While this isn’t EVERY protocol we are regularly practicing, here are some examples of what we are doing currently to go the extra mile for you:
Daily health checks of our team No-contact temperatures checks of all employees are done regularly throughout the day to ensure they are willing and able to provide safe dental care. It is our policy for them to stay home if they do not feel well.
No handshakes or hugs We love our patients and we love to see each other, but unfortunately, we have to save this part of our warm welcomes for when things are “back to normal”.
Change work clothes at work We change into and out of our newly-cleaned scrubs at the office, every day. Anything we wear while working NEVER leaves the practice. You will NEVER see us out at the grocery store wearing our scrubs.
Virtual waiting room You are welcome to check-in from your car for your appointment by calling or texting us. We will let you know when your privately enclosed treatment room is ready, so you can come straight in past the lounge to minimize coming into contact with others.
Sequenced patient scheduling and expanded appointment options We are allowing for more time between patient visits to minimize patient-to-patient encounters and to allow extra time for extra cleaning.
Additionally, we are offering extended appointments so that you can get more dentistry done in a single visit, meaning less times you have to come to the dentist.
Pre-screening of every patient A quick health questionnaire, consent form and no-touch temperature will be completed when you arrive to our office.
Family friendly scheduling We will do our best to accommodate multiple family members to come at the same time. That way, it will be like a private family session.
At-Risk Patient Hours We have exclusive hours dedicated to our elderly and medically-compromised patients. Please let us know how we can best accommodate you.
Teledentistry Some consultations and follow-up visits can be handled through teledentistry, a safe a secure way to meet with your dentist.
Social Distancing Privately enclosed treatment rooms and fewer chairs in our reception allow us to practice social distancing.
Extra cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting after every appointment Along with our normal procedures and protocols, we set aside additional time between appointments to thoroughly wipe, sanitize, and disinfect everything after each patient
Deep cleaning every evening At the end of each day, we take things to another level and do a complete top-to-bottom cleaning throughout the entire practice.
Proper PPE While you may not see our smiling faces, we are staying in compliance with current CDC guidelines for PPE, which includes double-masking (N95 and Level 3), FDA-approved face shields, and gowns for our entire clinical team. Our amazing administrative team will also be wearing masks at all times.

Please understand that at Restoration Dental Studio, your personal health and wellness is our top priority. We take this topic incredibly seriously and work very hard and go above and beyond current guidelines. This is an on-going commitment, and we will continue to evaluate and evolve our protocols as more information becomes available.
We always welcome the opportunity to answer any of your questions and address any concerns you may have.
And remember, we are in this together, and we will never underestimate the power of a smile.
